ASSEMBLYMAN ERRIGO NAMED TO ARMED FORCES LEGISLATIVE CAUCUS

Assemblyman Joseph A. Errigo (R,C – Conesus) has been named to the newly formed New York state Armed Forces Legislative Caucus.  The bipartisan caucus includes members from the Assembly and the Senate who have served in a branch of the Armed Forces.  “There has never been a more pertinent time for the formation of this caucus.  Increased threats to our servicemen and women abroad have been coupled with threats to their benefits and welfare at home.  This caucus will work to see that the debt owed to these dedicated individuals is duly repaid,” said Assemblyman Errigo.

The caucus will deal with issues such as veterans’ benefits, enhancing the reserve structure located in New York and ensuring that base realignment scheduled for 2004 does not negatively impact the state.
