ASSEMBLYMAN ERRIGO VISITS AREA SENIORS
IN CONJUNCTION WITH "TAKE TIME-VALENTINE" PROGRAM
Assemblyman Joseph A. Errigo (R,C - Conesus) conducted his "Take
Time-Valentine" program during the Valentine's Day weekend. Assemblyman
Errigo visited area senior care facilities to deliver Valentine's greetings
to the residents. "Many of these people have taken time out of their lives
to be teachers, parents, soldiers, caregivers. It is important for us to
take time out of our lives to thank them for their dedication and
sacrifice," said Assemblyman Errigo.
On Friday, February 13th, the Assemblyman visited the
Canandaigua VA Medical Center and delivered handmade Valentines donated by
Girl Scout Troop 300 from Victor. Valentines were given to veterans
throughout the ward. Assemblyman Errigo said, "These men and women are too
proud to admit it, but I'm sure that these individuals appreciate knowing
that they are not forgotten." The Assemblyman's visit came on the same day
that the CARES Commission announced the continued operation of the
Canandaigua VA facility.
Saturday, February 14th, the Assemblyman visited Monroe
Community Hospital in Henrietta and the Alpine Manor Home in Lima.
Assemblyman Errigo delivered Valentines that had been made by students at
the Livonia Primary School in Livingston County. "I am glad I had the chance
to bring a smile to the faces of some people who couldn't be with their
loved-ones," said Assemblyman Errigo.
Assemblyman Errigo also noted, "I would like to thank
Cathy Zollweg, Linda Bocchino and the members of Girl Scout Troop 300. I
would also like to thank Stephanie Piraino, Linda Reuther and all the
students at Livonia Primary School who took the time to make these
Valentines.
