CONTACT: BONNIE TURNER (585) 334-5210   ERRIGO JOINS FARM BUREAU’S ‘CIRCLE OF FRIENDS’        Assemblyman Joe Errigo (R,C-Conesus) has been named to the New York Farm Bureau’s “Circle of Friends.”      “This is a great honor, and it reflects how highly I regard the agriculture industry in my district and statewide,” said Errigo. “I have fought hard to promote and pass farm-friendly legislation to help keep our family farms in business. I will continue to support initiatives that help our farmers in the future.”      The Circle of Friends designation indicates a legislator had a strong pro-agriculture voting record and maintained other legislative support for farmers during the 2005 legislative session.      “These are the people – the farmers and their families – who sacrifice every day to put food on American tables,” said Errigo. “They made agriculture the number one industry in my district.”      The Farm Bureau named 38 state senators and 54 Assembly members to its Circle of Friends. -30-                                                                    11/21/05
